Cookie Policy
Effective: June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how LegalDocBuilder.com uses cookies and similar technologies. It complements our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. LegalDocBuilder is a document-generation platform — not a law firm — and does not provide legal advice.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use comparable technologies such as localStorage for saving drafts and consent choices.
2. Categories we use
- Essential. Required for authentication, session security, CSRF protection, and core builder functionality. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics. Aggregated usage metrics so we can improve features, performance, and reliability.
- Advertising. Used by ad partners — including, where displayed, Google AdSense — to measure and personalize ads. See our advertising disclosure.
- Preferences. Remembers UI choices such as autosave behavior and dismissed banners.
3. Your choices
You can Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or Manage Preferences from the consent banner. Your choice is stored locally on your device and respected across the platform. You can change it any time via the “Manage cookie preferences” button on this page or the Cookie Policy link in the footer.
4. Withdrawing consent
Click Manage cookie preferences above and switch categories off, or clear your browser site data for this domain to reset all choices.
5. Third-party services
When enabled, third parties (analytics and advertising providers) may set their own cookies subject to their privacy policies. Manage Google ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be surfaced in-product.
